Appearance options and a character creator are different

Changing an existing protagonist’s appearance and creating an original avatar are different features. The official character profiles introduce Jason and Lucia; the edition descriptions identify visual benefits. Neither is a complete specification for an avatar editor.

If you want to know whether you can change face shape, body proportions or an individual hairstyle, look for documentation naming that control. Do not treat one outfit shown in promotional material as evidence of every kind of customization.

Compare editions before paying for an appearance benefit

Make a short list of the specific items you care about and match each one to the current product description. Keep a pre-order pack, an edition upgrade and the base game in separate rows. A picture containing an item does not establish which purchase grants it.

Rockstar documents a separately purchasable Ultimate Edition Upgrade for Standard owners. That makes the entitlement question more useful than assuming you must repurchase the entire game. Check the current platform listing and account ownership before changing an order.

Use the edition comparison for the broader purchase decision. This page concentrates on what an appearance-related name establishes, so it does not invent an inventory, a price list for in-game shops or a resale value.

Outfits are not automatically tradable skins

An appearance benefit does not by itself establish transfer between players. An in-game wardrobe, an account entitlement and a marketplace listing are different systems. A seller claiming resale or creator uploads needs documentation for the specific supported mechanism.

For an artist, a concept sheet can show a design without proving that its mesh or texture can be imported into GTA VI. Keep source files and compatibility evidence separate. Current FiveM clothing work likewise does not establish an automatic GTA VI import path.

What to record when customization becomes testable

A useful appearance guide should name the character, menu, prerequisite and exact option being demonstrated. Show the before-and-after result and identify whether it came from the base game, an edition benefit or another entitlement.

That record answers practical questions such as whether an option is available immediately or tied to story progress. Until the interface and conditions can be checked, the published benefit list is a better reference than a guessed all-options checklist.

Questions, answered.

Is a free-form GTA VI character creator confirmed?

The reviewed character and edition pages do not describe a complete free-form avatar creator.

Are outfits and hairstyles listed officially?

Yes. Rockstar names those benefits in the Vintage Vice City Pack description.

Can I upgrade from Standard for Ultimate benefits?

Rockstar documents a separately purchasable Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Check the current store listing and account entitlement.

Does an outfit bonus confirm skin trading?

No. Appearance benefits do not establish transfer, resale or a creator marketplace.
